Mr. Sumeet is the Global Director of EV & Growth at Castrol – the lubricants business of BP – where he leads global strategy and growth initiatives in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle sector. With over 20 years of international leadership experience, Mr. Sumeet has built a diverse career spanning sales, marketing, strategy and digital innovation across B2C, B2B and B2B2C business models. His professional journey includes key roles at global, regional and country levels, as well as within startups, which gives him deep insights into markets across Asia-Pacific, India and China.
Before his current role, he held several senior leadership positions at BP/Castrol, including Global Channel Marketing Director, General Director of Castrol Innoventures and Marketing Director – ASEAN. These experiences have honed his ability to drive growth and lead transformation in dynamic, competitive and complex markets.
